Our white wine selection includes Sauvignon blanc, Semillon and Muscatel
Ancient birthplace of the first Bordeaux Vineyards, the Graves region, named after its gravel soils, is respected for the quality of its dry white wines. Le Blanc is a complex blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon and 10% Muscatel, expression of the finesse and elegance of our wines “By Château Léognan”.

Grapes varieties: 50% Sauvignon, 40% Semillon, 10% Muscatel.

Terroir: Sand and fine white gravel.

Planting density: 6000 vines / hectare.

Yield: 50 hl/ha.

Age of vines: 30 years.

Viti culture: Double guyot pruning (late).
Hand harvesting by parcel.
Selection/sorting in vineyard and again at winery.

Vinification: Traditional vinification by parcel.
Stainless steel vats with temperature control.

Maturation and bottling: French oak barrel.
Sur lie ageing.

Wine Tasting: Elegant well-balanced white wine made of Semillon which develops notes of wax and honey and a natural roundness that does not exclude freshness. Sauvignon brings fruitiness and floral aromas, vivacity and expression. Muscatel gives a greater aromatic complexity.

Ageing: Up to 5 years.

Food pairing: Gambas and vegetable curry.

Serving Temperature: 12°
